Director of Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center - University of Michigan

 

The University of Michigan’s Division of Student Affairs seeks an experienced professional to provide leadership to the campus Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center. Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of primary prevention, crisis intervention, advocacy and referral programs and services related to sexual and intimate partner violence for the campus community. The Director is charged with developing comprehensive campus-wide activities, relationships and partnerships. The Director develops and implements vision and long- term planning that is consistent with comprehensive, and culturally-competent education and service delivery systems. The Director provides supervision and oversight to professional and student staff including graduate interns.

Assistant Professor of Spanish - University of Arkansas

 

Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish, to begin August 2010. The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Arkansas seeks a Latin Americanist with a primary specialization in U.S. Latino and/or Afro-Caribbean cultural studies and literatures. The selected candidate will teach a broad range of language, literature, and culture at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and should develop courses in the specialty area(s). The ability to teach Spanish language courses for the professions is a plus. Normal teaching load is 2/2. Ph.D. in hand before summer 2010 required. Provost Postdoctoral Program - Duke University

 

In support of Duke University's strategic plan for enhancing diversity in student and faculty populations, as well as in leadership positions, our Provost has created the Provost's Postdoctoral Program. The program seeks to increase the diversity of scholars who have potential for becoming tenure track faculty at Duke or peer institutions. Particular focus is on fields in which women and minorities are under-represented. The program establishes competitive postdoctoral research appointments as Postdoctoral Associates. Each will be two years in duration. Awardees will devote their full efforts to research and may teach a maximum of one course per year.

Research Ambassador Program Manager

Supporting two linked scientific outreach programs at Evergreen – the Research Ambassador Program and Sustainable Prisons Project – the Program Manager (PM) coordinates activities in research, conservation, and education that connect scientists – particularly ecologists – to communicate results of their studies to underserved public audiences (e.g., prison inmates, urban youth, people in assisted living centers). The PM links scientists and the public with a broad spectrum of partners, e.g., artists, resource managers, conservation groups, government agencies, and other groups. Provost/Dean of Faculty - Susquehanna University

Assistant Professor, Political Science (Russian Politics) - Villanova University
